Somewhere beyond the regular perception of our mind lies the truth, deceitfully concealed by our daily routines and functions imposed upon us by society. It takes a true seeker to challenge our perceived reality, and look into the multitude of methods available to us since the dawn of human history, to be able to alter one’s consciousness and expand one’s mind.

The new EP by shadoW Work on Consumed Music is an attempt to create such a tool by means of music. It is an intricately produced two-tracker of stylistically provocative and psychedelic techno, where the title track “Altered” serves as a perfect peak-time tool, and “Xpans1on” as an epic dance-floor anthem.

Distorted kicks and metallic drum sections lined up with acid leads and trancy synths to create hypnotic sequences, elevating them with robotic vox and psytrance-inspired fx.
